The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested the Deputy General Manager (Finance), Airports Authority of India (AAI), North East, G.S. Mahapatra on the charge of taking cash from contractors in the name of allotting works.He was caught red-handed while taking bribe from a contractor by a five-member team of Anti-Corruption Wing of CBI at his office in Guwahati on Friday. The investigating agency has registered a case against the official in this regard. He is likely to be produced before the court on Saturday.
