Bihar Assembly elections will be the first time when a symbol will appear next to the 'None of the above' (NOTA) option. The Election Commission said, the National Institute of design, Ahmedabad, designed the symbol.<br/><br/>After the Supreme Court order in September 2013, the Election Commission had added the NOTA button on the EVMs as the last option on the voting panel.<br/>Nearly 60 lakh people in last year's Lok Sabha polls exercised NOTA.
