A senior Yemeni al-Qaeda leader arrested

In Pakistan, a senior Yemeni al-Qaeda leader Mohammad Ali alias Shoaib al-Makki has been arrested in Karachi. Makki has been working directly under the leaders of the terror group along the volatile Afghan-Pak region. The Pakistani military's media wing said the arrest of al-Makki is a major development in unraveling the Al-Qaeda network operating in the region. After the killing of Osama bin Laden in Abbottabad, Makki is the top terrorist leader to have fallen in the net.
