Indian music maestro A R Rahman missed the Oscar in the 'Best Original Score' category to the duo Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross who win for their soundtrack in 'Inception'. At a glittering ceremony in Los Angeles, Welsh-born actor Christian Bale won the Award for his supporting role as a washed-up former boxing champ in ''The Fighter'', moments after co-star Melissa Leo clinched the best supporting actress Oscar. Other top Oscars went to ''Toy Story 3'' for best animated movie and Denmark's ''In A Better World'' for foreign language film. ''The King's Speech'' claimed best original screenplay for its writer David Seidler and Facebook film ''The Social Network'' took home the Academy Award for adapted screenplay for its writer Aaron Sorkin. Other early awards went to ''Alice in Wonderland'' for best art direction and ''Inception'' for cinematography.
