In Manipur, the 96-hour total bandh called by the United Naga Council in Naga areas of the state from Monday midnight has been called off. The decision to call-off the bandh was taken in an emergency meeting of the Naga body this afternoon after the Union Ministry of Home Affairs assured the council to hold tripartite talks in the last week of this month. Representatives of Centre, state government and the council will participate in the tripartite talks which will be held in New Delhi.
