In West Bengal, 955 additional seats will be made available to medical students from the next academic year. The State Health Minister Dr. Suryakanta Mishra disclosed this at a function at the Calcutta Medical College today. He said, next year, three more medical colleges with 100 seats each will be opened in Malda, Murshidabad and North 24 parganas districts.
