o promote India's international trade and investment, a Made in India Show will be organized in Dubai from 8th to 10th June this year. This was announced by President of the Federation of Indian Export Organisation (FIEO) Mr. A. Sakthivel and Consul General of India Mr, Sanjay Verma in a joint press conference in Dubai on Wednesday. The event will be inaugurated by Commerce and Industry Minister Mr. Anand Sharma.Speaking on the occasion FIEO president said that the primary objective of the show is to highlight the strength of India in manufacturing and services and underline India's attractiveness as an investment destination. The event will also highlight India's soft power like culture, cuisine and cinema. He added that Made in India Show is an event of the Ministry of Commerce and FIEO has been appointed as the Lead Agency to organize it. Speaking to reporters The Indian Consul General said that the fair aims to serve buyers in the greater Middle East North Africa (MENA) region looking for international-quality products from India.The trade exhibition will take place on all the three days (8-10 June) where buyers from UAE, Middle East and North African (MENA) countries shall be invited to establish business tie ups with Indian counterparts.
