Union Minster of Road Transport and Highways and Shipping Mr Nitin Gadkari on Saturday said that the road sector is running fast and nearly 95 percent of the projects are on track.<br/><br/>Union Minster Mr Gadkari was talking at the Global Business Forum at Panaji.<br/><br/>Mr Nitin Gadkari said that when the NDA government came in power the 283 projects related to National Highways was stuck due to several reasons but today all the projects are running fast.<br/><br/>Talking on road accident Mr Gadkari said that the statistics on road accidents in our country are shocking nearly five lakh road accidents take place every year and 1.5 lakh die in these accidents.<br/><br/>The Road Transport ministry is concerned over the large number of road accidents in India and was trying to minimise the accidents, he added.
