In Odisha, a total of 92 government officials have, so far, been placed under suspension for dereliction of duty in the ensuing panchayat elections. <br/><br/>Jajpur District Election Officer-cum Collector suspended 57 government officials for not joining duty, while Kendrapara district administration has initiated disciplinary proceedings against 35 employees on charge of skipping poll duty without notice.
