The Coal supply has also touched eight hundred 77.74 Million tonne, recording 45.37 percent growth in the same period.<br />”<br />”Overall coal production has gone up to 893.08 Million Tonne in Financial Year 2023, which is the highest in the history of the country. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that after 2014, his government has taken several steps to reform coal sector.<br />”<br />”The Coal Ministry has said that as per the Action Plan for 2023-24, the coal production target is one thousand twelve Million tonnes by enhancing overall production, efficiency, sustainability and adopting new technologies.<br />”<br />”The Ministry is focusing on enhancing coking coal production to 140 Million Tonne by 2030. <br />
