<span style="color: #222222;">The Goverment of India is developing Natural Gas infrastructure in the country and working on ‘One Nation One Gas Grid’ with aim to increase the share of natural gas in the Primary Energy mix.<br />”<br />”Akashvani Correspondent reports, One Nation, One Gas Grid’ refers to the joining of several regional grids, creating a national grid, and supplying multiple stakeholders, including the central government, state governments, the public sector, and the commercial sector, with natural gas-produced energy.<br />”<br />”Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board is the body to authorize the development of pipelines. Around 33 thousand 500 km Natural Gas Pipeline network has been authorized across the country.<br />”<br />”Out of this, 21 thousand 715 km Natural Gas Pipelines are operational and a total 13 thousand 605 km length of pipelines is under various stages of construction.<br />”<br />”Expansion of pipeline infrastructure is a continuous effort based on gas demand assessment of various regions. The pipeline grid is expected not only to help in improving clean energy access, but also aid in the development of city gas projects.</span><br />
