A day after the release of 16 Pakistan nationals by India, 9 Pak fishermen have been repatriated via Attari-Wagah Joint Check Post, on Saturday also. They had inadvertently crossed over into Indian water in Gujrat sector and were released after completing their sentence.<br/><br/>Their release is reportedly part of the goodwill gesture following the understanding between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif during thir meeting at Russian city Ufa, last month.<br/><br/>The two sides had decided to release fishermen in each other's custody, along with their boats, within a period of 15 days. The decision is helping in addressing one of the major humanitarian issues between both the neighbouring nations.
