In Iraq, nine members of a family were killed when their house was blown up in Tikrit on Tuesday. According to voice of Iraq news agency, a group of unknown armed men planted four IED’s at the house of the Mukhtar of Jamil District in central Tikrit. The IED was detonated, killing nine members of his family, including his son, an officer with the rank of colonel,and his four children.Tikrit is the the capital of Salah al-Din Province, which is 175 km north of Baghdad.In a separate incident, eight Iranians in one bus and four in another were wounded in the early morning attacks in different parts of the capital Baghdad.
