9 killed, over 30 injured in two bomb blasts in Pakistan

In Pakistan, two bomb blasts outside campaign offices of candidates contesting general election, killed nine persons and injured more than 30 in northwest today.

A remote-controlled explosive device went off outside an election office in Kohat district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province killing six persons and injuring 21 others.

Hours later, another bomb went off outside an election office in Maqsoodabad, a suburb of Peshawar, killing three persons and injuring 10 others, including three children. No group has claimed responsibility for the bombings.
