In Gujarat, nine people were killed and two others injured when their car rammed into a truck in Surat district late last night. According to Kosamba police, the accident took place when the car was trying to take a turn on National Highway near Kosamba in Surat district. Eight people were killed on the spot whereas one died during treatment at Bharuch Civil Hospital.The traffic on the highway was disrupted for over two hours following the mishap.
