In Nagpur, the 8th International Convention of the Society for the Promotion of Indian Classical Music among Youth -SPIC MACAY was inaugurated today at Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology -VNIT in Nagpur. This cultural convention is being jointly organized till the 4th of next month, by the Union Ministry of Culture, and Incredible India. Padma-awarded artists will perform at this weeklong convention. More than 1500 delegates and youths from India and abroad will attend the convention. It includes classical music, dance programmes, folk art, a sculpture workshop, a cinema screening, heritage walk.
