The eighth game between Vishwanathan Anand and Challenger Magnus Carlsen ended in a draw today. Both the players have gained half points each thereby Anand has gained three points and Carlsen with five points.It took less than two hours for the players to end the game in a draw. Speaking to newspersons after the game, Anand said that he would try to gain points in the next game. He felt that it was not the time to analyse the past games. Carlsen said that he was quite happy with his position.Tomorrow will be a rest day. Four more games are to be played in a total of 12 games in the championship.
