The Eighth Edition of National Seed Congress will begin in Hyderabad this morning to deliberate on the latest cutting edge seed technologies and policies in the Indian Seed Industry. The three-day conference will discuss various regularizations and legal provisions to regulate spurious seed sector, modern seed technologies for food security and transforming seed technologies to farmers. <br/><br/>AIR correspondent reports that over 600 delegate from Industry, research centres of national and international reputation are expected to attend the conference. About 75 farmers from Telangana state who are in seed cultivation also will attend the conference.
