<span style="color: #222222;">A total of 86 police personnel from Jammu and Kashmir and 3 from Ladakh have been awarded President's Police Medals (PPMs) on the occasion of the 75th Republic Day. Akashvani Jammu Correspondent reports that among the 86 awards to J&K, 72 are Medals for Gallantry (GM), 2 President's Medals for Distinguished Services (PSM), and 12 Medals for Meritorious Services (MSM) while 3 awards to Ladakh are for Meritorious Services. Besides this, 4 police personnel from J&K have been awarded Shaurya Chakra while 55 personnel bagged J&K Police Medals. Also, 49 personnel of J&K Police have been awarded J&K Police Medals for Gallantry (JKPMG). Moreover, 4 personnel of the Home Guard and Civil Defence Service have been awarded the President's Medal for Distinguished Services and 27 have been awarded Medals for Meritorious Services. Likewise, 2 personnel of the Correctional Service have been awarded Medals for Meritorious Services. From the Union Territory of Ladakh, 3 police personnel got President's Police Medals for Meritorious Services (MSM). Further, 1 person in Correctional Service has been awarded the Medal for Meritorious Service.</span><br />
