Tobacco products will now carry 85 per cent pictorial warnings as a Central notification comes into effect today all over the country. <br/><br/>The Health Ministry's notification for implementation of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products (Packaging and Labelling) Amendment Rules, 2014, comes into force today. <br/><br/>Earlier, the Ministry had made a commitment to Rajasthan High Court on 28th March this year that all tobacco products manufactured from 1st April onwards will carry larger pictorial health warnings.
