The 84th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan will begin on Saturday in Mumbai’s neighbouring Thane district. A rich feast of books, poetry sessions, interviews of celebrity writers and filmmakers, besides a host of cultural programmes will mark the four-day literary event. Eminent writers like Shankar Vaidya, Madhu Mangesh Karnik, Ramdas Phutane, S.N Navre and Mangesh Padgaokar will grace the event and participate in interactive sessions.
