Maharashtra yesterday witnessed substantial increase in number of fresh COVID-19 cases and deaths. The state reported 8,418 fresh cases of COVID-19. According to State Health Department data, 171 patients succumbed to the infection in the day.<br />'' <br />''In all, 10,548 patients were discharged after full recovery.
