84 bridges, 1858 roads of around 11,500 km completed in J&K: Govt

Government today said that one thousand 858 roads of around 11 thousand 500 Kilometre length and 84 bridges have been completed in Jammu and Kashmir under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana. In Ladakh, 96 roads of around 700 kilometre length and two bridges have been completed under this scheme till July this year.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">Rural Development Ministry said, in the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, all unconnected habitations of population above 250, are eligible under the programme. The Ministry said, during last one year, 181 road works of one thousand 292 Kilometre length and 11 bridges have been completed, with an expenditure of more than 715 crore rupees.</span><br />
