In Afghanistan, eight U.S. soldiers and an Afghan civilian working with ISAF were killed on Tuesday in multiple complex IED attacks in southern part of the country. An ISAF statement issued this evening said that several soldiers were wounded in these incidents and were transported to a regional medical facility for treatment. The attack comes a day after 14 Americans including 11 soldiers were killed in two helicopter crashes on Monday. The current month is proving to be the deadliest since US operation began in 2001 with overthrow of Taliban rule
