In Jharkhand, eight remaining districts have also been declared as drought hit by the State Governore Mr. M.O.H.Farook Earlier, 16 districts were declared drought hit in two phases. Today's decision was taken after the Governor chaired a meeting at his Project Bhawan Building Office at Ranchi, in which all his three Advisors along with Secretaries of Agriculture department and Natural Disaster took part.The Governor directed the concerned departments to increase the pace of relief measures in all the drought hit districts of the state.
