At least 7 persons were killed in a road accident in Chhattisgarh on Monday night. The accident occurred when a speeding van bus rammed into a truck near Simga in the Raipur district of the state late last night. 6 persons died at the spot while one succumbed to injuries during treatment. 4 persons were also injured in the accident, who have been admitted to the government hospital in Raipur. Police have arrested the driver of the truck. One more person injured in the accident also breathed his last on Tuesday afternoon in the Government hospital in Raipur taking the toll to 8.
