8 more athletes test positive for banned substances in National School Games

In the National School Games, eight more athletes, tested positive for banned substances. With this total number of drug cheats mounted to 11 at the event in New Delhi so far.The National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) organised the Dope Control Programme during the event held between December 28 and January 3. NADA said in a statement that it had collected 81 samples in the events of Wrestling (30), Boxing (31) and Weightlifting (20). The championship was organised jointly by the School Games Federation of India and the Director of Education (Sports) of Delhi.
