Pakistani officials say at least eight alleged militants have been killed in a suspected US Drone attack in the country's north-west. Officials say two missiles were fired at a compound being used by suspected Taliban members in Mir Ali village in north Waziristan. That region near Afghan border has been militant stronghold. <br/>Military officials say at least 500 militants and 70 soldiers have been killed since the offensive began.<br/>
