In Japan, almost eigh lakh people across three cities have been ordered to evacuate following warnings of landslides and floods brought by heavy rain.<br />'' <br />'' Kagoshima city, Kirishima and Aira, in Kagoshima prefecture on Kyushu island, urged their residents to move to safety immediately. <br />'' <br />'' Japan's official media NHK quoted the meteorological agency as warning that rain clouds are developing as a seasonal rain front hovers over the region and warm, humid air flows in. <br />'' <br />'' Since Friday, rainfall in some parts of southern Kyushu has reached one thousand millimetres.
