<br/>At least eight people were killed in a landslide triggered by heavy rains in coastal Ratnagiri district of Maharashtra in the wee hours. <br/><br/>AIR Ratnagiri correspondent Pramod Konkar reports the incident occurred at Harne village in Dapoli tehsil at around 2 am. Rescue personnel have so far removed four bodies from the debris. <br/><br/>Earlier, they have rescued five persons safely. The landslide badly damaged two houses in the village. Rescue operations are underway. Details are awaited. <br/>
