The Congress party today termed, the suspension of eight of its own party members from the Lok Sabha who continously demonstrated in the well of the House on the Telegana issue, as a well thought over decision. Party spokesman Manish Tiwari said, the suspension of the members will also enable the transaction of more important business by the House. He also said, the demand for Telegana is a complex issue.
Mr. Tiwari also said, Congress party is seized of the seriousness of the abduction of Sukma District Collector Alex Paul Menon and the Odisha MLA Jhina Hikaka by the Maoists. He said the Centre and the States have to arrive at a consensus on Security issues and also work in tandem to counter the Maoist menace.
