<span style="color: #222222;">Afghanistan, at least eight security force personnel have been killed in a car bomb attack on a convoy of the Governor of Logar province&nbsp; this morning.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Local officials said the provincial chief was left unharmed in the attack on the&nbsp; highway between Logar and the capital Kabul.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Shahpoor Ahmadzai, the spokesman for Logar's provincial police, said the bomber detonated an explosives-packed car close to the governor's convoy. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The police said 10 others have been wounded and the number of casualties may rise. The Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.</span>
