The Finance Minister, Pranab Mukherjee has expressed satisfaction over the estimated economic growth rate of 8.6 per cent. Talking to reporters in New Delhi on Monday, he said that this growth rate is quite encouraging in the wake of the rising inflation and trade imbalances. He said, despite challenges it is quite encouraging that the GDP is not deteriorating.
