In Maharashtra, as many as 7,998 cases of Mucormycosis have been reported so far and 729 people have succumbed to the disease till yesterday.<br />'' <br />''<span style="color: #222222;">According to the State Health Department's data, of these, 4,398 patients are currently under treatment for the disease. The maximum 1,296 Mucormycosis cases were reported in Nagpur, then 1,187 in Pune and 940 in Aurangabad. Recently, the State Government has put a cap on the rates for treatment of Mucormycosis at private hospitals.</span><br />
