In Jammu and Kashmir over 78 percent polling was recorded in the 15th Phase of Polling in nine blocks of Jammu and Kashmir Division which concluded peacefully today. The Polling was held to elect 150 sarpanches and 1003 Panches . Panchayati Elections, elections were held in four blocks of Kargil District – Kargil, TSG, Sankoo and Shakar Chiktan Blocks. 92 percent vote has been cast in Kargil Block, 91 TSG block, 85 percent in Shakar Chiktan block and 90 percent in Sankoo Block.
