In Morocco, 78 people were killed when a military transport plane crashed into a mountain in the south of the country due to bad weather on Tuesday. The military said, the crash occurred when a C-130 Hercules aircraft was trying to land in Guelmim, having flown north from the disputed Western Sahara territory. It said three people have been seriously injured. The military said 60 soldiers, 12 civilians and nine crew members were on board at the time of the crash. King Mohammed of Morocco has declared three days of national mourning.
