7762 healthcare workers were vaccinated on Wednesday in Tamil Nadu. With this the State has vaccinated 40 percent of the 85 thousand beneficiaries in the past five days. The total number of recipients in the State is 33,670. State Health Minister Dr. Vijayabhasker has said that though there was initial hesitancy in taking the vaccine, a lot more are convinced to get vaccinated as per the enrollment.<br />''   <br />''On Wednesday, 7614 health care providers took Covishield while 148 took Covaxin. The vaccine manufactured by Bharat Bio tech is available in six government medical colleges.<br />''       <br />''Southern Railway has also launched a Covid 19 vaccination campaign and will administer the vaccine to around 1240 frontline workers at the Perambur Railway Hospital, ICF Hospital and Chennai Division Hospitals. Dr. C.V.N.Murthy medical director of the Perambur Railway Hospital was the first to receive the dose of Covid 19 vaccine. The hospital has the facilty of walk in cooler which will help in storing the vaccine in the recommended temperature range of 2 to 8 degree Centigrade.<br />
