77 more Dengue case reported today; number crosses 1000 mark

With 77 fresh cases of dengue reported today, the total number of confirmed dengue cases in the national capital have crossed the 1000 mark. A total of 1014 people have been affected by dengue so far with three confirmed deaths. Central and South delhi are the worst affected areas. Dengue cases are on the rise due to good monsoon and massive construction activity in the city which have provided suitable breeding ground for the mosquitoes. However authorities are taking all possible steps to control mosquito breeding. Fogging is being carried out at all places including construction sites and along the railway tracks to keep a check on the sread of the disease.
