Municipal Corporation of Greater Mumbai (MCGM) is all set to make the 'Har Ghar Tiranga' campaign a great success and has decided to distribute close to fifty lakh flags that will be hoisted between 13th and 15th August to mark the 75th year of India's independence. After chairing a review meeting in this regard today, Mumbai's Municipal Commissioner Iqbal Singh Chahal said voluntary organizations, as well as NGOs working in social, industrial, educational, trade, and other sectors, will be involved to raise awareness about the campaign. <br />'' <br />'' Instructions have been given to list the names of housing societies, schools, government and non-government offices, business houses, and others who are ready to hoist the national flag. This is important as people also need to be trained on how to hoist the flag with full honour and dignity. Further, the removal and safekeeping of the national flag is also to be ensured. He urged citizens to come up in large numbers and hoist the national flag as a symbol of unity.
