Seven hundred and fifty five personnel have been selected for Police Medals. According to an official press release the Medals were announced on the eve of the Republic Day. Eleven police personnel will be decorated with gallantry awards and one hundred twenty nine with Police Medals. 82 Personnel will be given President’s Police Medal. The press release says that 533 personnel will be conferred medals for their meritorious service.
