<span style="color: black;">In Chhattisgarh, 74th Independence Day is being celebrated with fervor and patriotic spirit.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel unfurled the tri-colour at the main function held at the State capital Raipur,&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #222222;">while the cabinet</span><span style="color: black;">&nbsp;ministers and parliamentary secretaries&nbsp;</span><span style="color: #222222;">hoisted</span><span style="color: black;">&nbsp;the national flag at the district headquarters.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">AIR Correspondent reports that during the Independence Day functions at the State and district-level, Corona warriors- including doctors, policemen, health and sanitation workers were felicitated for their selfless service during the pandemic.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, guidelines were issued by the State government for necessary safeguards. Independence Day programmes were held with limited attendance and no cultural performances were organized.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">School children were strictly prohibited from attending the events. The State government had decided not to hold public programmes at tehsil and Janpad levels.&nbsp;</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: black;">Meanwhile, security has been stepped up in the State, especially in Maoist-affected areas. Additional forces were deployed in the Bastar region. Intense patrolling is being carried out in the interior areas and along inter-district and inter-state borders to prevent untoward incidents.</span>
