The Lt Governor of Andaman Nicobar Islands (retd.) D.K. Joshi hoisted National Flag. AIR correspondent reports that addressing the gathering the Lt Governor said that under the leadership of PM Narendra Modi these Islands also moving  towards development. <br />''<br />''A series of development project taken by Andaman Nicobar Administration and after completion of these project the islanders will witness a new era of progress. The Lt. Governor informed that CRZ clearance for four mega tourism project has been received in which 650 cr Rs. will be invested. He said that administration is moving towards green energy. So far solar power plant having 11.5 Megawatt capacity have been installed and further work for installing solar power plant of 17.5 Megawatt capacity is under progress. Independence Day celebrated in remotest Campbell Bay Island also. </span><br />
