702 MPs have identified Gram panchayats for development under Sansad Aadarsh Gram Yojana (SAGY) in 1st phase while 114 MPs identified the gram panchayats in 2nd phase.<br/><br/> In a written reply in Lok Sabha today, the Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Kripal Yadav said, the ministry has documented 101 good initiatives in the Aadarsh Gram on the initiatives taken up by Members of Parliament and brought out in the form of SANKALPAN. <br/><br/>A Village Development Plan has been prepared for every identified Panchayat with special focus on enabling every poor household to come out of poverty.<br/><br/>The steps taken by the government for effective implementation of the SAGY include skill training to youth, organic farming, eliminating child labour, open defection free villages and agriculture marketing.
