70% economic activities resume in Assam despite COVID-19 pandemic

<span style="color: #222222;">In Assam, 70 percent of the economic activities resumed despite Covid-19 pandemic. Talking to AIR, Chief Secretary Kumar Sanjay Krishna informed that things are back to normal as lockdown norms have been relaxed in the state. He however said, due to floods, the state is facing some problems.<br />''<br />''The  Chief Secretary further said, the district administration has taken all steps to help flood hit areas. He said, SDRF and NDRF teams are carrying out relief and rescue measures wherever required.<br />''<br />''Our Correspondent reports that though the flood situation is improved in the state nearly 25 lakh people are submerged in 23 districts. 102 persons lost their lives due to floods so far.</span><br />
