In Chhattisgarh, at least 7 persons were killed in a major road accident in the Mahasamund district this morning. <br/><br/>The victims included a child who died on the spot. The accident occurred when a speeding minibus, carrying a marriage party lost control and turned turtle near Komakhan, about 60 kms from the district head quarters. <br/><br/>Thirty four people were also injured in the accident. Condition of 8 is stated to be serious. The injured have since been admitted to the local hospitals.<br/>
