Uttar Pradesh at least seven persons including 6 women drowned to death in Ballia district this morning under Haldi police station area when a boat capsized in river Ganga.<br/><br/>AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that the boat capsized when nearly 100 residents of several adjoining villages were performing a religious ritual on the boat while crossing the river. Boat capsized in main stream of the river. <br/><br/>Nearly 70 swept to safety while 9 are admitted in district hospital for treatment. Senior civil and police officials have reached on the spot for relief and rescue operation as local residents claimed that many are still missing.<br/>
