In Chhattisgarh police killed 7 naxallites in the Dantewada district in an encounter. The encounter took place in the Tetemadgu jungle under Kistaram police station area of the district. It also left one police constable injured who has been admitted to the Jagdalpur hospital.Police have since recovered the bodies of the naxalites. The encounter between the police and the naxalites which continued for about an hour took place this morning when a party of about 600 policemen was out on an anti-naxal operation. Police have recovered some weapons which include 303 rifles, some detonators and landmines from the site of the encounter.<br/>
