In Sikkim, seven persons were killed in an accident near Dickchu in North district last night. The tragedy took place when a vehicle carrying tourists from Kolkata, on its way to Gangtok from Yumthang, skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge at a desolate place on the Rangrang – Singtam Road.AIR Gangtok correspondent reports that there were eleven persons on board. The dead include two women and the driver of the vehicle also. Four injured persons have been admitted to the District Hospital at Mangan in a critical condition.
