In China, seven people have been killed and 23 others injured after a bus overturned inside an expressway tunnel in the northwestern Shaanxi Province. Local traffic police on Tuesday said the condition of six injured persons is critical. According to survivors from the accident, the bus carrying 35 people was heading for Yunxian County in central China's Hubei Province. They said the bus suddenly lost control inside the tunnel and crashed onto the wall and guardrails before it overturned on the middle of the road. According to police, an initial probe indicated that speeding was to blame for the accident. Further investigation into the accident is under way.
