In Assam, at least seven persons have been killed; eight others injured seriously when a loaded truck collided with a Safari car carrying marriage party. The accident occurred on 37 National Highway near Kaoimari under Chaygaon police station in Kamrup district in the wee hour today. According to the police source, the injured persons have been shifted immediately to the Guwahati medical college hospital.
